The battery was dying horrifically quickly. No idea why. So I decide "Fine, get a cheap replacement." 'cause I don't care anymore. Unfortunately, on neither phone could I get a signal. Thinking "This isn't right in the slightest", I decide to actually go and ask "Right, what's wrong."
The first shop was adamant I had another SIM card. They didn't really care to say anything more than that so I walked out on them. I was not prepared to stand for 10 minutes telling them "The problem happened BEFORE the upgrade" because they didn't seem interested.
The second at least seemed like they were trying to help. I needed a new SIM card. After finding the paperwork and discovering the other shop had decided to keep my SIM, we had the fun of trying to order me their 30-day-free-contract thing (which didn't work -- I'm terrible for any sort of rating
I'm on O2 again, now. I've actually gotten one of my old phones out, which has all my old numbers on already (so a transfer wasn't hard), and I know I'll have signal and that it'll be reliable to say the least. And it turns out the only reason my battery died was because Orange moved their network dealy over to 3, so phones are using up battery trying to locate these new signals.
I can't believe how much trouble a phone network can be. And here I was once informed that Orange was reliable.
In the meantime I think, judging from the responses to the last journal, that the Wacom thing may just be a standard glitch for it. Sucks, but oh well, just means I can't run music from the pute when I'm working, similar to how I do it on the laptop.
Also, Animal Crossing's not allowed to suck the life from me. But yesterday I played hide-and-seek with some neighbours. It was actually kinda cool.
